Blending songs that run the gamut of rock, funk, blues, pop and jazz seems effortless for this young band, and ATA will not be in a box or classified into one category. They write and play music that they feel is right for the tune. Because of their diversity in sounds, all three of their recordings have a different style and feel to them. Their self titled debut was a celebration of theirChristianity while their second recording, Ardent Worship, was simply about worshipping God. Their latest, Unusual, is more introspective and reveals the challenges we deal with as Christians.
Over the years, the sound may change but the hearts behind the music continue to stay focused on the call. According to lead singer, Dex, "We're not about being a band, as much as we are using music to express these philosophies the transcend life for anyone who wants to apply them to their lives." The verse that guides these four men is colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do work at it with all your soul, as unto the Lord and not for men. It is Christ whom you serve."
