THE ISRAELITES

The Israelites, a local band from Southern California, have become known as one of the top traditional Ska bands in both the secular and Christian market. Their music incorporates a fusing of Jazz, Soul, Rocksteady, Reggae, and Motown. They have played at venues such as The Whiskey, The Roxy, Show Case Theater, Hong Kong Café, as well as for local church groups and crusades. The Israelites see their calling as one to preach the Gospel to youth, especially those found in the Ska music scene.
